This depends on the strength of the CBD you order.
You should always start with a low dose and gradually increase.
Start Low, Go Slow
Each person is different and the benefits of CBD are often subtle and hard to detect at first. Every human has a different physiological make up, that’s why the dosage can vary from person to person. In the end, you must discover your own dosing regimen by titrating (increasing slowly over time) up to the dosage where you get most relief. Generally, for most people, this is somewhere around 2-3 drops three times a day.
Increase or reduce dosage as needed.
DOSING EXAMPLE - STARTING
Start with one drop once a day After 3-5 days, increase to one drop three times a day After 3-5 days, increase to two drops three times a day
DOSING EXAMPLE - HEALTH CONDITIONAfter starting (see above), stay on two drops three times a day until you have been using CBD for about 3 weeks Review and assess: See how it is working for you
If necessary, continue to titrate up to find the dosage where you get the most relief Increase to three drops 3 times a day After another week, increase to four drops 3 times a day, etc If you increase and after about a week you feel that not much additional relief is obtained, reduce back to your previous dose This becomes your 'maintenance' dose
We recommend to take CBD three times a day, leaving at least 3 hours between each dose. It’s always better to take CBD on an empty stomach so the acids in the stomach don’t interfere and break down the CBD before it is absorbed fully. For some people they decide that taking CBD Oil once a day is perfect as a maintenance program. Similar to taking your daily vitamins.
Some people find that taking CBD Oil in the morning works best for them as it makes them more alert. Other people find CBD oil is best taken at night time. It’s up to you to find out what is right for you.
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a natural chemical called a cannabinoid found in cannabis and hemp plants. CBDA is the acidic form of CBD. This means the cannabis/hemp plant in it's natural state produces CBD + CBDA. When heated (decarboxylated) CBDA becomes CBD. So if you juiced raw cannabis plant material you’d be taking CBDA and CBD. If you heated it, say by smoking it, you would just be getting CBD. Therefore FULL SPECTRUM oil is just as nature intended.
Some customers report that they get better results using CBD + CBDA, others CBD. This doesn’t mean that one is better than the other, it is just a matter of finding which one is right for you. Cannabinoids all work together in a synergistic way, this has been called the entourage effect. Our extracts contain CBD + CBDA with over 400 other natural compounds such as terpenes, flavonoids, photo-nutrients etc.
Sometimes it’s just a matter of preference. If you don’t get the results you expect with one it’s often a good idea to try the other to see if one is better than the other.
